Biography of the artist

BONDARENKO NINA PETRIVNA

Was born on March 27, 1941 in Kyiv.

1956 - 1961 -  studied at the Kyiv School of Applied Arts (now the Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after M. Boychuk), Department of Art Textiles, specialty - artistic weaving. Teachers: I. Sibibert, V. Sadov, S. Nechiporenko, N. Vovk, P. Glushchenko, E. Svyatsky, A. Kazantsev, N. Tanasheva. Specialty - artistic textiles.

Since 1970 he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

1961-1996 -  works in the field of decorative and applied arts (artistic textiles) at Darnytsya Silk Factory, a leading specialist artist  industrial artistic textiles of artificial silk. Creates more than 500 drawings of industrial artistic textiles of artificial silk for serial and mass reproduction. Every year from one to three million meters of fabrics are decorated with very complex original drawings.

1965-1970 - develops the national exhibition art textile of Ukraine. Since 1963, fabrics and drawings have been exhibited at many All-Union and international exhibitions, awarded medals and diplomas.

1984 - 1990 - works on the revival of the ancient tradition of national Ukrainian beating and develops the theme "Modernity - National Ukrainian beating". Creates more than 50 new samples of ornaments of the Ukrainian woodblock printing, for products of the enterprises of art fund of the Ukraine.

Woodblock printing - printing by hand from a wooden board on canvas with oil paints. The woodblock printing ornament was widely used in the life of the Ukrainian people in the 18th - 19th centuries.

1985-1990 - works in the field of monumental and decorative art, design  interiors of public buildings in the technique of batik.

1991 -became the beginning of a new stage of creativity. 30 years later, the love for artistic fabric unpredictably turned into a love for painting on canvas.  The main direction of her work is plein air painting of landscapes and still lifes of the Crimea. 

1995, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 - during his travels to the USA he created a collection of paintings "Atlantic Ocean".

Since 2004 is a regular participant in international art open airs (Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Tunisia, Slovakia, Armenia).

2014-2021 - according to memories, created a series of paintings "Spring in the Crimea".

He signs his paintings on the reverse side with three surnames: 

Nina Bondarenko, Muzychenko, Munenko.

 

Since 1963 she has taken part in more than 150 collective art exhibitions. 

The artist's works are mentioned in more than 100 publications.
